Irish national killed at Pagua Bay Guest House
Former manager of Silks Hotel, Joseph Costello was fatally attacked at the Pagua Bay House in Marigot on July 31st.
The police reported that on that night the owners of the guesthouse, Rick and Alicia Davison were entering the premises when they were attacked by three masked men carrying a hatchet, a cutlass and a piece of wood.
Upon hearing the commotion, Costello who was in a cabin with assistant manager of Silks Hotel, Emily Elizee went to investigate. He was then struck on the head with a sharp object, which caused a severe wound.
The Davisons sustained multiple injuries and were hospitalized.
Police say Elizee was unharmed, but was robbed of $EC350.00.
Their attackers also stole $US200, a BlackBerry phone and a laptop belonging to the Davisons.
